We're seeking an experienced news designer to support our award winning newscasts. If you're a Photoshop, After Effects, and Curious Maps power user, and posess strong composition and typographical skills this is the place for you.

This versatile duopoly position focuses on an evening news shift design lead, working with news producers and writers to conceive and execute daily/nightly on-air newscast graphics including package animations.  Will also oversee a second evening news designer and manage the evening graphics workflow. This position mainly supports the evening news broadcasts on both television stations, with dayside shifts as needed to support KPIX and KBCW promotion initiatives.

You need 3 to 5 years experience in news graphics production and design in a broadcast news environment.  Knowledge of non-linear editing and illustration a big plus.  Must possess strong organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills with the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
