Topical Promotion Writer/Producer

The Dispatch Broadcast Group's WTHR-TV, one of the country's most successful local television stations, is looking for a talented, hard-working and experienced news topical writer/producer in the Promotion Department.  The individual in this position will be responsible for the writing and production of daily topical promos for our evening and late newscasts and will work a 2pm-11pm shift.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years experience crafting topical promos in a newsroom or station promotion department and will be proficient in computer editing. A college degree in journalism or broadcasting is required.
